This professional refrigeration and air conditioning system,  2.6 CFM vacuum pump,  is used to evacuate any air and non-condensibles from the system prior to charging the system with refrigerant.
The vacuum pump is not intended to recover the refrigerant from a system, that would be a "refrigerant recovery unit".
